Whatchoo Lookin At

So it turns out that Tom Cruise is now a liability to Hollywood studios due to his crazy-ass behavior over the past year. Movie bosses are afraid Tom’s weirdness (the “cootie factor”) is turning movie audiences off and away from theatres, so they’re not willing to pay him his usual gazillion dollars per movie. (Awww, poor Tom Cruise.) What’s worse is Tom refuses to listen to experts’ advice, and nobody even wants to, nor knows how to, tell him the bad news.

One marketing executive speaks for many in saying, “He needs to go away.” The idea is that Cruise should stay out of sight for at least a year, allowing time to get over what one prominent agent calls “the cootie factor.”

Apparently Cruise does not grasp the cootie factor and has no plans to take a break. And the agent says it would be very hard for his reps, at this delicate moment, to explain the situation to him. “He’s in a zone that he’s never been in and it’s their job to make sure he feels the positive light,” he says. Another source close to the star agrees. “You’ve got to be very careful in conversations with him,” he says. “Tom is not ever going to face facts.”

Well duh, “he’s not ever going to face facts,” the man is obviously out of his freakin’ gourd!! The couch jumping, Scientology peddling and brainwashing of Katie Holmes made that pretty clear.

Also, how far gone and drunk with power do you have to be that your underlings and bosses alike are afraid to tell you the truth? “You’ve got to be very careful in conversations with him?” Um, when did Tom Cruise become Lord Voldemort? But that’s just as well, because we are gonna need some mad Harry Potter action up in here to bring down He Who Must Not Be Named. And get Dumbledore too, just for good measure, cause you never know, homie… Shit, somebody’s gotta save poor little Katie Holmes and her baby Suri, after all.
