I ain’t sayin’ she’s a golddigger
Seems to be breakup week…Paul McCartney, 63, and wife Heather Mills, 38, announced Wednesday they were divorcing after 4 years of marriage.
This led to rampant speculation about how much of McCartney’s $1.6 billion fortune Mills would get in the divorce. Though some estimated the settlement to be as much as $400 million, divorce lawyers are saying it’s more likely to be in the range of $20-95 million, including a house and trust fund for their daughter Beatrice, 2.
Seems fair and I never took her for much of a golddigger since she mostly does charity work and it’s hard for me to hate on an amputee.
But Paul’s children from his marriage to the late Linda Eastman never liked her, apparently. Paul’s friends didn’t seem to like her much either:
Friends of McCartney described Mills as hot tempered and constantly nagging. “Heather would often complain that he lacked style - he hated her criticisms.”
Poor Paul! As an ex-Beatle he’s so badass it’s ridiculous to criticize him for “lack of style.” He’s 63, a rock legend and a genius–he’s earned the right to go around wearing nothing but a strategically placed sock if he damn well wants to!
